"massive" is subjective and the size of the masses changes at different stages of the revolution from insurrection to state-building. quality of communist cadre is really what matters, Lenin always said "better fewer, but better". but to answer your question, I disagree with the idea that communist "hegemony" matters -- the CPI(M) for instance is a legitimate mass party with a huge base but still poses no risk to the fascist Indian state.

How do you keep up with all these new articles and stuff you post is it just twitter?

twitter and fb is most of it, I make a point to follow communist parties or affiliated organizations/people in order to keep up. but social media is only good for certain things, for example facebook comes down hard on anything affiliated with the NPA in the phillipines. so in that case its just good to check their websites/blogs every once in awhile. and thats not getting into sites that publish news and/or translate stuff like wsws/redspark/people's dispatch/etc.

I assume in the era of RSS feeds this was all a lot easier.
