Idk they seem to be doing fine
the empire is doing fine politically, sure. the economy has been in a recession since 1991 tho and it'll likely never escape it so long as the country stays on its current trajectory.
Idk they seem to be doing fine
they're doing fine in the same sense the US is doing fine
take from that what you will
Democracy high key overrated
this is why you should read things like Capital before worrying about s*** like Nietzsche

The Israeli people's unifying goal is to kill arabs though

right, the general critique applies to the society more broadly. governments are class dictatorships, the Israeli legislature represents the interests of settler colonialism. its not a flaw in the concept of "democracy", though obviously democracy is inferior to communism.

I do think it's a critique on democracy, at the end of the day the Knesset isn't only a chamber of commerce. Every dead Palestinian is a manifestation of the Israeli peoples democratic will. I wonder what you mean by your last statement because my interpretation of communism is that its democracy in its purest form. Free from settler colonialism or the "social club".

the primitive accumulation of palestinian land and the class character of the Israeli settler comes before any pretense of "democracy". my point is that the knesset very clearly does not function as a "democracy" since the system itself is premised on the exclusion of anyone who isn't a white settler -- by any bourgeois standard that is anti-democratic. in the era of imperialism, only socialism is capable of producing a true democracy.
what I mean by that last statement is that democracy itself is an intermediary between the will of the people and the potential of the system. during the Cultural Revolution it became obvious to the proletariat that the previous forms of socialist democracy were ill-equipped to the continued task of building socialism to a higher level and that new forms were necessary. in a theoretical communist society their wouldn't be a necessity for "democracy" at all since the system would be self-sustaining through its internal mechanisms. this is partially what is meant by "the withering away of the state".

Is herrenvolk democracy not still a democracy?
To whatever the extent the state withers away there would still be a state imo, which would necessarily be democratic.
