China is not socialist, whether they are on the road to socialism is something to be discussed. But if you were to geopolitically choose between a China that is completely aligned with the Western Capitalists or one that is seemingly trying to challenge western Hegemony which would it be.
That’s the way I prefer to see it anyway.
