Capitalism is in a large part built on generational wealth. Descendants of slaves or of immigrants don't have as much. One of my German friends is an aristocrat. His lineage goes back hundreds of years. He has contacts all over the place and capital because of this. I'm the son of immigrants. I can't fall back on such a network.
