They'll do this stupid s*** with the DSA but not actual fascists lol
The red guards of Austin did bring guns to a fascist rally before

Still attacking the DSA is just dumb as f***
i truly believe in order to understand socialism in theory, you must understand capitalism in practice.

Brought to you by the Chicago boys and Milton Friedman.

Of course, you can’t defeat an opponent without knowing it.
The two seem to be conflated though, even by self-described “socialists”
Not surprised it comes from the same people who somehow confuse the philosophical definition of materialism/idealism with realistic/utopian semantically for some reason

A lots happening in South America right now, Ecuador just went into a state of emergency over an 11 year old getting shot

What if they had individuals making sure that outreach would be achieved throughout the undecided and unplanned?

Its pretty good but the ending kinda is a bit shaky, especially the part where he goes into the working class is shrinking. If there are whats going on with them then ? I think here's he trying to force the feudalism aspect in, he tries to equate the data expropriation to the feudalism expropriation, while there are similarities he pointed out but ignores a vast majority of differences, like before the peasants were given a means of living, a pitifully one to continue this expropriation while the data companies dont give us this means of living, to continue living we still have to sell our labour-power in markets, we still have to get employed in a market, and then compete in that market, so the average man can make sure he doesnt go to sleep hungry and often enough they still do.
The guy is clearly smart and ive learned quite a bit from this 13 min clip of him, but I feel like intellectuals wanna be the next groundbreaker like Marx ( you can see this at then end when he goes like the "left" hates me for this like the utopians did with Marx) , and often enough this holds them back cause they try to force a conclusion they already perceived like the feudalism part here, can he be right in the future, and can this be a trend thats starting absolutely, but I dont think hes correct that it already replaced capitalism in the current day.

They basically take a conclusion then.work backwards to justify it

yanis one of my favorite thinkers, don’t know if i’m 100% sold on his technofeudalism thesis but i think the base idea that capitalism has decidedly changed somehow in the past few decades is definitely a true one. we’ll see to what extent he’s right but at the very least i always appreciate his lectures and books for being thought provoking
