    theres a lot to talk about, hes a bit of a weirdo who did some serious political activism and had actual serious political involvement but was ideologically unstable and dabbled in a lot of bizarre political campaigns and developed somewhat of a cult following and structure to his movement. he had a lot of near psychotic episodes with either predictions or thinking his initiatives were going to do things and ideologically he was all over the place and hard to pin down because of the absurd stuff he often preached.

    I disagree bourgeois media has shown to "slander" anyone as a communist even if they are or not, changing the symbols isnt going to stop that lol, they'll just say hey look the commies changed their symbols.

    It’s less about bourgeois media and more about common people and their ideas regarding traditionally socialist platforms

    Different iconography can be translated as “different socialism”

    There’s still plenty of MLM pm orgs in Austin and the amount of Maoists both in Austin and around the US is exponentially higher than what it was during the time of the Red guards.

    Although the Red Guards Austin get hated on, as a Maoist I do celebrate them for being the first MLM org in the United States when they formed in 2015. Now MLM has spread across the country and orgs have formed in almost every major city.

    it is pretty funny but it's honestly funnier that like 70% of those are just also used by actual nazi germany. so even in those like 80 years since 1940 they've barely managed any form of originality lol
    it's also funnier where a lot of these symbols come from. like out of those 30%, like the majority are just generic pagan symbols lol
