Most African Countries Had Nominally Socialist Parties Leading Them In the 1960s and 1970s
S*** like that and Guangxi Massacre are absolutely wild which is why I don't f*** with Mao as much as people here do, he absolutely lost control of his country during the Cultural Revolution
I respect him for some achievements but if his s*** worked so well then Deng wouldn't have appeared right afterwards
Deng didn't just "happen", he was apart of the coup of the gang of four.
I will admit there were excesses in the cultural revolution just like any conflict. However, it was needed and didn't go far enough see Deng + other revisionists.
Unlike the term "massacre" would suggest. The Guangxi massacre was something that occurred over nearly a decade and it was the result of fighting between red guards and a revisionist faction. There deffinetly was some excesses. However, this rebellion had large mass support in the area. Much of it is sensationalized such as the "cannibalism."
I would recommend you watch some parts of the documentary "How Yukong Moved the Mountains" which is a BBC doc filmed during the cultural revolution. It shows what everyday life was like during the the cultural revolution as they filmed workers from a variety of different areas.
A cultural revolution is a necessary imo. After seeing the rise of revisionism in China and the Soviet Union. Class struggle must continue after the revolution.
It happened
i mean like the modern day equivalent
they used some larp sword too iirc
Japanese Communist Party Did Not Experience European Socialism Split of WW1
They basically went Marx - Engels - Kautsky and then had their own path, all of the Lenin vs Luxemburg vs Kautsky vs Bernstein stuff played no role in Japan and they had their own evolution ever since

China had 10 years of cultural revolution and still went hardcore revisionist right afterwards, at least after Lenin's death the USSR held on with socialism for a few decades
We have to ask how Deng happened
Anyway now it is meme time
