Rapper Jay-Z is using his art to respond to criticism about his and wife Beyonce's recent trip to Cuba on their fifth anniversary. The tune released Thursday, "Open Letter," includes lines such as "I done turned Havana to Atlanta" and "I'm in Cuba, I love Cubans. This Communist talk is so confusing when it's from China, the very mic that I'm using."

The song also includes lines that imply the White House had a hand in giving him and his wife the clearance to travel to Havana. For example: "Boy from the hood, but got White House clearance" and "Obama said, 'Chill, you gonna get me impeached.' "

During Thursday's White House briefing, Press Secretary Jay Carney denied the song's suggestion that there was any White House involvement in Jay-Z and Beyonce's trip.

"I guess nothing rhymes with Treasury, because Treasury offers and gives licenses for travel, as you know, and the White House has nothing to do with it," he said in response to a reporter's question. "The White House, from the president on down, had nothing to do with anybody's personal -- anybody's travel to Cuba. ... The president did not communicate with Jay-Z over this trip."

been had the most awful f***ing headaches, sore throat, joint aches, nausea, fatigue, swollen lymph nodes but whatever life is dogshit and sometimes you feel like that...

and then these f***ing bumps started appearing

learned that that's like 6 out of 8 indications and i f***ing hate myself and this country

i would check to make sure youre not having an allergic reaction if possible, those are the exact same symptoms and the bumps look like what my friend got several years ago when he had a severe allergic reaction. monkeypox is way more pronounced from what ive seen. allergic reactions like that are serious as they can compound w/ a closed throat or asthma attacks

yea so pretty much i quit my job like a month ago, and ive been recovering since from a pretty bad seizure so ive barely even been outside.

literally only go to the supermarket, and i went to the city to get a tat ONCE

im honestly freaking out a bit cuz ive seen those pics and im gonna cry if i get sores from my face to my feet

I don't even have a primary care doctor and there's ABSOLUTELY ZERO infrastructure in the US.... no info on where to go what to do what not to do where to seek tests or vaccines

plus im allergic to a decent amount of foods and the rashes are undoubtedly different the main difference being that they are pus filled like the early stages of a pimple instead of purely just inflammation. also they're not itchy (yet???? or mayb not?? who knows?? there's no f***ing info??)
