"Outside of the world of whackos and conspiracy theorists and all of that, very few people in the mainstream have been willing to say what I'm about to say, which is, I really and truthfully believe that George W. Bush is somehow involved, either directly or indirectly, in the attacks on New York City on September 11." - Aaron McGruder

"McGruder endured heckling and walkouts as he defended his commitment to left-wing causes, including, he claimed, calling Condoleezza Rice a "mass-murderer" to her face during the 2002 NAACP Image Awards." - Wiki

The original assassination plan had included killing the English film star Charlie Chaplin who had arrived in Japan on May 14, 1932, at a reception for Chaplin, planned by Prime Minister Inukai. "These activists, eager to ingest a nativist Yamato spirit into politics, recognised the charged political nature of mass culture". Chaplin's murder would facilitate war with the U.S., and anxiety in Japan, and lead on to "restoration" in the name of the emperor.2 When the prime minister was killed, his son Inukai Takeru was watching a sumo wrestling match with Charlie Chaplin, which probably saved both their lives.

    ....

By end of the trial, the court had received 110,000 clemency petitions, either signed or written entirely in blood, from sympathizers around the country pleading for a lenient sentence.3 Additionally, nine youths in Niigata asked to be tried by the court instead of the accused, and sent the court a jar containing nine of their own pickled severed pinky fingers as a gesture of their sincerity.4

Germany was lulled into capitalism's golden age, before being rudely awakened by that nasty tendency of the profit rate to fall. Even so, history had seemingly ended on a comfortable chapter. The new millennium rapidly unraveled this mirage, revealing that even the consumerist compromise had been a suicide pact. The technologies undergirding this metropolitan lifestyle would now destroy it. As the foundations of an enlightened post-war Europe disintegrated, they gave way to something which had been cast away and forgotten: barbarism. 77 years after the end of World War 2, a Nazi battleship is on the danube once again. History had hidden this monument to a barbaric past, only to recover it as a sinister window into the future.

China will forgive 23 loans for 17 African nations, China’s foreign minister Wang Yi has announced.

“China will waive the 23 interest-free loans for 17 African countries that had matured by the end of 2021,” Mr Wang said at the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation according to a statement.

He pledged that China would continue to actively support and participate in the construction of major infrastructure projects in Africa through financing, investment and assistance, but at what cost?

    there is definitely strings attached

Like I think these things are clearly not as f***ed up as the “investment” the west does. But anyone that thinks China is just doing this out of the kindness of their heart with nothing in it for them is kidding themselves
