He’s been producing his own s*** lately but in his prime a ton of people were emailing him beats. And you can tell from listening that the songs would probably take him 15 minutes each to make, just work ethic
Honestly that’s pretty admirable.
He was probably the first musician to use memes as marketing and that did probably overshadow his music but ain’t s*** ironic. Red Flame and Evil Red Flame are both 10/10 mixtapes, music can have a sense of humor without it being liked “ironically”
Ok pal

Dude has many tracks where he’s actually rapping and saying something too, I understand feeling that way about his fanbase but it’s lazy to write him off as irony. He’s crazy charismatic

Dude was a sub par rapper who used rapping so bad it was funny and internet humor to make his regular rapping style sound better by comparison to the parody raps.
It’s not like hidden information that he was at least serviceable but if he woulda never started with the antics nobody and I mean NOBODY woulda been out here caping on the internet for his music.
It was a gimmick that worked fam..
Glad you liked it tho.

Of course his gimmicks and memes got him where he was. The music is dope tho, I hope you don’t listen to any of the bland artists today who get by on Internet s*** and memes. His rapping and the memes weren’t the selling point for me but he got on dope production and he was charismatic. Had humor and substance. And at the time it seemed “so bad it’s good” but today his worst rap would be seen as top tier lyricism compared to what’s hot
i’ve listened to probably 99% of his songs but he’s got so many that that’s just an estimate lol. he’s my fav rapper but he’s not all i listen to. i just listen to a lot of music.
idk what really needs explaining, he’s just one of the only artists these days you gotta actually put in time to listen to and really understand ya know? dude is a legend and has so many classics but really came up and has continued a 100% independent music career.
idk man you just gotta listen to the music. peep I’m Gay and God’s Father
I like Lil B un-ironically so start with The "Flame" mixtapes then go to 6 Kiss, I'm Thraxx and I'm Gay.

Yeah I don’t listen to meme rappers bro..
He’s the first of the f*** ass generation of joke artists. I didn’t like it then, I’m not a fan now.
That’s just me tho man.
You and a lot of other people thought it was good. That’s all that matters

but the 17 year olds on here will try and rewrite history every time just cuz they weren’t their to experience it (and probably never even listened to the music)

That’s who I listened to the most in the past 2 weeks. I listen to JE album a few times for Jays verses and the beats
And they’re both drastically better than Lil B and I’m far from a fan of either. Both can actually spit tho.
The fact that you think you’re making a great argument is hilarious tho
Growing up on trash has really wired you zoomers backwards af
He has a weird personality and freestyles every song damn near. No second takes, unless it’s for adlibs
a joke rapper who made a couple of good songs a decade ago and ended up influencing the entire rap game
I interracial date and I f*** with other races
I set great examples, but girls love my p**** - Lil B
crazy how majority of ktt was being breastfed during lil b prime n now try to downplay his influence or quality of music, bro yall some f***ing clowns calling his music "some nerd s***" when yall be on ktt 24/7 lmaoo his songs used to make parties so lit when everyone started cooking
