I was at the Tyler concert in NY last night. I don't wanna come off as "hating from the nosebleeds" but the floor crowd for Vince's set was pretty atrocious. I won't lie some songs, mostly the tracks off S/T, just didn't fit for an arena. It be like that. I'm sure it'd fair better in smaller venues, it is a more personal/intimate album anyway.
Yeah I don't think S/T is really a good album for an opener, seems better for a solo tour. I still saw the same response a few years ago when he was performing the hard BFT cuts, Blue Suede, Senorita, etc. tho which was unusual

That's weird the crowd for the show I was at yesterday were going up for the BFT, Blue Suede, and Senorita lol
Sometimes its the type of crowd.
Case in point...

walking out on kendrick???
walking out on kendrick???
Yup. The specific crowd at the venue was looking for club bangers and hype music and Kendrick was just coming off of TPAB.
So the audience didn't really match up to what Kendrick was putting out at the time. The article speaks on how the crowd was full of mainstream/casual rap fans which Future and Drake had a grip on back in 2015.
this same thing happened when I saw vince open for flower boy tour in miami (or orlando? i forget)
vince was performing BFT songs and these girls that looked like they were smoking weed for the first time ever were booing him
I saw him a few weeks ago during Tyler concert and his set definitely got the least love
It was so easily to get close cause no one cared and no one was moving or dancing at all save for like the 8 or so hyper fans. And he clearly knew cause he pointed it out and said some s*** to them like "thank you to the people here in the front who seem like they having fun" feel bad for him

Do gen Zers not have any bullies? S***s crazy.
Angloids ? Palm colors ? I’ve always thought both cracker and mayo related words for us whites always sounded awkward and not funny enough but these are f***in brilliant
Do gen Zers not have any bullies? S***s crazy.
Gen z don’t have bullies, they don’t have sex, they don’t have grades, they don’t have friends, these mf’s just floating through the universe
People aren’t entitled to give a f*** about your music. He got paid so I also doubt he cares. You act like what they’re doing is disrespectful.
@op with the s*** on Vince Staples thread I get it lol.
one day we gon' learn what the hell did Kenny Beats do to yall niggas for yall to hate so much lmao.
that being said, Tyler really might have one of the most rudest fanbases ever. I know it gotta be annoying to think about lol.

so whoever recorded this is technically a snitch right
like u tryna out these dudes for no reason
s*** so disrespectful breh like yeah I was there for Tyler but I'm not gonna be an ass to the openers
This always happens with Tyler openers. If you aren't playing Frank or Odd future songs before Tyler's set you are getting ignored.

if i saw someone playing duck duck goose and patty cake at a concert i’d probably record them too cause wtf u doing

if you're doing this out in public, especially a place where you're not really expected to have privacy like a concert, it's fair game to be recorded if you're doing some weird s*** imo

A regular concertgoer who reports seeing cringe isn't a "snitch" or a "rat"
The cacs were just sloppy
Snitches and rats are not the same thing
Let me break it down to make sure y'all see what I mean
A "snitch" is someone minding other folks' business to find information
They can sell for a price or trade for some other form of compensation
A "rat" is a traitor...a conceiver...planner or physical participator
He doesn't sell secrets for power or cash
He betrays the trust of his team or his family hoping to save his own cowardly ass
The difference is at least a snitch is human, but a rat is a f***in' rat, period
