I was a pretty f***ed up kid with a lot of issues if that offers any clarity
Although, if there's anything to take away from such exposure is that I've been largely desensitized to those aspects of life outside of compassion and sorrow for the victims. Even when I witnessed a man jump in front of a train a few years back in person, I didn't feel that overwhelming shock, rather sorrow for the person & the circumstances he must have been facing to make him do such a thing
