Most likely Ye couldn't stop pressuring him to realize his back-to-back short albums vision
That’s a fair point. Other than put out Nasir as it was, unfinished, the alternative option would’ve been for Nas to walk away from the concept entirely and drop the ‘Nas Album Done’ album albeit with Def Jam owning a percentage of it, something Nas didn’t want as he thought the music was too good for someone else to have control over.
Yeah f*** Kanye. And shoutout to Hit-Boy for actually respecting Nas's time and legend status and hooking him up with great beats and being present in the studio with him during the creation of KD1, 2, 3, and Magic.

It’s funny cuz I would give the benefit of the doubt to Ye but the fact that the beat was on a nas remix tape already
Bad and underwhelming are two different things tho.
They are two different things for sure. And it was both of those things.

This is crazy, the fact that the sample is from a song called "No Ideas Original" is even crazier, blatant rip there
maybe compared to other parts of his discog it's not the best but it still has some highlights
Ye stans will never say he was wrong about anything man this thread is proof lol
I like Nasir
Grew on me

You know, this song wouldn’t be so bad if it was meant to be for a Target back to school sale commercial
!https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=8BEwNkGYkMMIt was actually used in an ad in Australia for like Google Pixel or some s*** lmao
This album stinks but so do those hit boy ones 💯💯
