Speaking as an American, our economy was already a house of cards. Our social programs are nonexistent. Our institutions are weak. Our elected representatives are supposed to be held accountable by and serve the people. When they're dolling out trillions to businesses while paying a meager stipend to a population racked by skyrocketing unemployment and increasing food insecurity that tells me their interests are not in line with the common citizen. I blame them because the conditions we can control have been either fumbled or purposefully mismanaged on every level. This has been a crisis for the average person and a windfall for corporate America. The vertical integration and further monopolization of industry will be staggering to behold when this is said and done. It's horrifying.

Speaking about my home life yeah it’s always been troublesome but wtf am I supposed to do rn? Nothing. and it’s because of the virus. The virus has put a stop to everything. Dumb asses on here are saying “your a grown man, man up and get out of your situation” how tf am I supposed to do that when literally everything is shut down because of the virus. They literally have hiring freezes. I have applications from f***ing mid February to mid March pending. I was applying to a job two nights ago and half way thought the application I realized I had already applied to it in March.

People are living with family longer and longer. Workers are earning less and less in America while their productivity continues to rise. The middle class dream of moving out and owning your own home is increasingly a fiction. Opportunities are scarce. Work is increasingly precarious in a gig economy. If you think a virus increased that strain, just wait until climate change starts making areas of the world uninhabitable, crops dwindle, coasts disappear, wildfires rage, hurricanes brew, and populations migrate. The same profit motive that led to us being a soft target for a pandemic is churning out carbon to cook the planet.

These circumstances are a lot bigger than you are. Economic dependence is a recipe for being tied down into abusive circumstances. Politically speaking, democrats and republicans both endorse this system. Going forward it's either going to be barbarism or socialism. If you think everybody deserves a base amount of dignity and security, I'd point you towards the latter.

I’m 26 and my brother is 29. He’s to immature and a f***ing junkie to live on his own and we have issues all the f***ing time. When he lived in Jersey he quit two f***ing good jobs, did d**** all day and got a dui and his been home for 3 years

Also I haven’t been home in literally 8 years except over the summers so obviously it’s hard for me to be home at this time and I have been home for over 4 f***ing months

My parents are both immature af. Almost 58 but fight over dumb s*** line they are 18. The fights gets heated and affects the whole family

My dad is still really controlling and so is my mom mainly cause of all the f***ed up decisions my brother has made

Man the list goes on. I was supposed to be out of this place, but the f***ing government wants us to quarantine until we either kill each other or kill ourselves
