On a macro scale, we need to correct the injustices in the world. We need to correct the system that unfairly keeps a foot on the back of minorities and the poors head.

On a micro scale, don’t kill people and work on bettering yourself.

Think about a sports team. You need a coach(government/society) that will be able to educate the players and put a good system in place for the team to win. But even if the coach has an outdated play style and is failing at creating a winning culture, that doesn’t excuse a player(person) from skipping workouts, playing selfishly, or not studying the playbook.

All lives mattering and BLM aren’t mutually exclusive ideas. The problem with All Lives Matters is that conservatives use it to ignore the real problems that minorities face day to day, the systems that put us at a disadvantage. They use ALM to ignore the entire basis of why BLM started. Cops were killing blacks. There’s nothing wrong with saying we need to work on bettering ourselves while also fighting to create a better more fair world for all of us. They shouldn’t kill us, but we also shouldn’t kill each other.
