Great album. Good representation of Drake’s versatility of R&B (Fire & Desire), Pop (Hotline Bling), and Hip-Hop (title track). I’m convinced if you don’t like this album you just don’t like Drake which is perfectly fine but don’t act like it’s a bad album because of your personal feelings towards him. Just my opinion though.

I got like 12 years of classic Kanye albums to listen bruh I ain’t stressed this man is declining at 42 years old. I’d be in shambles if my fav was 33 and hadn’t dropped a classic yet though like y’all.

scorpion is literally better than all of them

anyway i think it's an aight listen holistically. but i get disappointed as soon as With You happens. there was some decent sonic linkage between the songs (hype is almost out of place, but i think once it settles in you're like aight, sure this album is still moving)

but With You is such a pace killer, it's like if drake was doing that scorpi'ting A side B side thing right here.

aaand i think it loses a lot of focus thereafter. it tries to be more scorpi'ting side A afterwards with cuts like Grammys, Still Here, Child's Play. then it...haphazardly tries to go back into smooth cinematic s*** with Summer's Over Interlude & Fire + Desire

i still like its songs, but i don't think its overall structure says much

Theres a lot of cuts on this album that are still very very good. I think the only song that I've only disliked more as I heard it was childs play. Other than that the whole album I thought was solid.

Thread got me listening to views front to back for first time in a few years. Finally clicking, I slept on this project way too hard.

Views and Scorpion mad underrated while More Life and IYRTITL a tad overrated probably because the hype and vibe we had with those. All his albums good of course but the ones that will stand the test of time the best are TC,Views,Scorpion

It was only a let down because we had expected a certain sound from it after hearing some songs. Wasn’t the album we initially wanted but it was the one we needed.
