fashion killanobody is listening to saweetie. they are trynna push her image down our throats in hopes of manufacturing the next megan/cardi/nicki.
megan's rise to where she is now was very heavily manufactured by her lab and her management (shoutout the roc bc holy s*** they are so good at what they do). It was a successful investment. Now people are trynna replicate it w saweetie. What Megan showed the industry is that standout music isn't necessary if you have a strong enough brand and personality.
They've abandoned making saweetie's music good or even popular, they care way more about saweetie as a cultural symbol. like with meg, when she gets big enough as a personality, the hits will come, whether the songs are actually good or not.
