Some songs that were made by artists while they're rising always have that moment that feels like now they know their thing, it's not about trying to prove anything or reach a certain sound, they're now up there and just doing their thing. which songs give off that feeling?
My examples:
Yup exactly what I meant, you get the point lol. this felt like Uzi was celebrating being established as a rapper now, 2016 was peak uzi fr
Sing For The Moment, Lose Yourself, The Way I Am, Superman. Em used to be so confident during those eras.
50's Many Man
Jay's 99 Problems
the title track of an album released at the twilight of their careers after a long hiatus, yet completely encapsulating everything the band had been about from the start

Agreed, peak Uzi for me as well. I personally didn't enjoy the direction he went with LUV is rage 2 with the whole d***ged out demonic persona. The 2k15-16 tracks when he was enjoying the come up/ being established were the best.
Still my favourite Drake song ever, a flawless closer to a classic album, his flow is so confident and nimble, really still felt like the start of his story of world domination too when I first heard it
'On some young Quincy Jones, dark skin Michael Jack' s***
And these the motherfuckers that they packaged
Their new s*** all be sounding like my past s***'
