    GO:OD AM really an underrated album in mac's discog tho, dont ever hear people talk about it as much

    i distinctly remember when it was about to come out, he was the subject of a Grantland feature (by rembert browne lol) where he talked at length about having just got out of rehab and being sober now/that narrative more generally was part of the marketing for the album

    so i suspect that primed the "mac makes better music on d****" crew (who now all pretend they never said it) to consider it a lesser work in his oeuvre

    Most hooks by Vince in his discography are pretty mid/average/lazy but nobody seems to notice or care because the music is good
