I would say its at a level of difficulty that theres no shame in switching to easy mode(easy mode makes platforming easier too)

thats honestly how I realized I wasn't fighting the new final boss correctly, I didn't realize you have to swipe to the side to lock on to and attack the wire thing that regenerates its health? maybe I've been playing the game wrong but idk how it was clear that you were supposed to do that lol

Apparently when you unlock all characters, find all skill kokos, beat all challenges and clear all new cyberspace levels, each one of those unlock a new tip for the fight from the master king. I ran into the same problem, my girl was watching me play and was absolutely floored that his health was healing and thought this could be the hardest game ever made

wtf I did not know that at all, if the internet didn't exist I would have been stuck at that puzzle on kronos island and would have never defeated the final boss sonic team wilding with this newest update. had a ton of fun though still

they patched the update so the bosses aint impossible as the new characters (but they're too easy now if u level up any of the new characters tbh) and also they fixed knuckles' glide

lmao I finally picked up the game because it was on sale and now I understand what you're saying.
I have a mixed opinion on this sonic.
As a prototype it's good but for the rest it's bad

There is nothing to do except collect, not even a mystery or easter egg... I understand better why the demo was so short.
I started rushing towards the 3rd or 4th island, we can see that they didn't have time to do what they wanted.
Cinematic are terrible
The final boss is a joke, we don't face him, it's just a QTE...

the music is good, I like the cyberspace levels even if it's recycling
I will test the DLC later
I regret my purchase 6/10
