people freaking out about this like its 1935 are literally the funniest. what are they gonna do, show Madame Web 8 exclusively in their theaters in a world where everyone watches movies on their phone off 123movies.to?

Is what it is. They've been in financial issues for years even when they expanded two theaters to my home area a few years back. Was either gonna cave or someone bigger would step in.

Who knows whats next tho... People are saying more Sony classics and re-releases at Alamo as if you already couldn't do that lol. As long as film clubs and special screenings stay idc i'm just happy to have them

Does anyone actually go to these and get the food? It always seemed like it'd be disruptive and distracting to the movie experience to me

I get food all the time there. People get food food beside me too. All comes down to what you get and your level of discretion. I try to be as quiet and non disruptive when I eat. Never get chips and queso during the movie, always at the bar for HH before. Burgers are discreet, pizza less so but manageable.

they changed their menu like 10 years ago and I stopped ordering the food bc the quality went so downhill. maybe itll be better again now.
