My dumbass got a ps5 digital and regret it but too lazy to trade in and pay up at this point
They’re not gonna lol. At most maybe they’ll make an attachable thing again but I doubt it.

The rumors point to there been a bundle including one yes... But I imagine that's for PS4/PS5 discs (4K Blu-Ray discs too) and not PS6 discs unless Sony at some point reverses their decision.

Yeah it should be that way at least hopefully... So yeah you can either now or when the PS6 is out get the games you're interested in when they're on sale and then play them on the PS6.
But well since there's a handheld coming out too so will I maybe wait until the PS6 Pro is out and whatever version of that handheld is out before I do join the next-gen gaming experience thing.
I mean especially if the prices are very high... But I won't get a PS6 Pro etc. until it's on sale though so we'll be more than half-way through the next generation before I do get a new PlayStation console... But if there's PS6 games that I do want and they're on sale? Well so will I get them while I do wait until it's the right time to get a PS6 Pro etc.

you can buy an attachable disk drive from Sony and just swap out the faceplates that’s what I did
pre price hike the drive was $80 + digital came out to about the price of a disc drive ps5 anyways. Idk how it looks now tho

I think he means it's the OG PS5 digital... So he can't do that unfortunately.
But yes the PS5 Slim Digital/PS5 Pro has the option where you can buy a Blu-Ray disc drive for it and attach it to it.
