Asha like "Thank you Sony for a distraction from upcoming layoffs "
Even as a digital only person, you are a f***ing idiot for clowning people who still want physical media. We literally see stories every day of "purchases" getting revoked because we in fact not buying anything but instead purchasing a digital license to use this content until big daddy Sony says no more.
Glad they did this before I considered jumping on PS5 Pro or 6 though. Helps to know now
PC and Switch 2 still here baby
Takes away parity when the others are just blowing their s*** smooth off for no reason other than being anti consumer and terrible at operating
Now that's also getting into the AI slop of it all
All this s*** is connected and it's devastating that people have become too stupid to realize this basic s***.
You'd think they'd come around when they discovered that you don't technically own something that's digital. Unless downloaded to a non-cloud/internet connection dependent device at least. Thing is, it's a lot of people who surprisingly don't understand that either.
Yes most people are f***in stupid as s***.
Netflix slop on one monitor
Digital EA Sports game on the other
Spotify AI DJ on the Playlist
UberEats arriving in 15 minutes
“Streaming bad”-Jim halpert.

Not looking forward to the day Steam does some heinous s*** with the amount of users it has on its platform and the amount of people that will defend it
You will own nothing and be happy.

Sony the cost of these major AAA games is beating their ass and live service pushes not taking off. So I am not shocked in anyway. This way it gets more money directly in their ecosystem they off PC now. They know their core fans will accept it because many of them now have disc drives and would never buy a digital only PS5 without a disc option because they want to have the option for movies or games. Long term they know this a set back but the money of cutting out gamestop and game sharing that they cant control without their confines still likely profit.
That’s why we all need to buy helix day 1

Team industry crash

Helix they shifting because they cant afford to sell at a crazy loss so they would wind up being at least 1200 or so too if they wanted to be a high end pc hybrid still
their only move is make online free, have a disc drive and change how gamepass operates in some way shape or form
I remember i wanted to shank myself in the throat when Rights towards the Freddy Krueger character/IP changed and because of ONLY THAT, Mortal Kombat 9, maybe the best MK, got delisted out of the store. No way to get the s*** digitally
terrible news all around smh. the used or rental market is pretty much gone with this s***
The physical market has just died, and the first thing that comes to his mind is to defend the multibillion-dollar company , actual cattle

We've seen this backfire before and will see it backfire again
