I’m not saying other developers don’t know as well . I’m sure Sony studios like Naughty Dog and Santa Monica are aware of the PS6 being digital. And I wouldn’t be suprised if Intergalactic is digital only

But Rockstar is banking on this game being played for like 10 years . And they are probably planning on people buying GTA6 on PS5 and then they’ll charge them like $10+ extra to upgrade to the PS6 version. So that’s easy money for Rockstar when people can just upgrade their digital PS5 version to the PS6 version

I’m not defending Rockstar deciding to only do digital. But I can’t imagine why else they would decide to release their biggest game ever in only digital if they didn’t already have prior knowledge of the the next gen consoles being digital only
