I buy digital cause I can play that on my PS Portal then too. I get the argument for owning physical copies but the convenience of digital is too good. I am what Wall-E was trying to warn us about and I don’t care!
i'm in a weird position cause i think physicals are important, but after my house burnt down and my entire physical collection got destroyed, I was really thankful to have a mostly digital library.
i hit up nintendo to see if they could give me access to digital versions of the physicals i had, and they told me go thru insurance, and when I said I didn't have insurance they just said

There was a dude in here a while ago that thought average people weren’t affected by natural disasters
Fires, floods, hurricanes, earthquakes this s*** happens every year damn like how ktt2ers manage to live in such a bubble sometimes
Im sorry to hear what you went through but im glad you had mostly digital
always be prepared for the inevitable imo. We out here living in fault lines in Cali.

When i traded in all my ps2 games for marvel ultimate alliance 2 as a child

When i traded in all my ps2 games for marvel ultimate alliance 2 as a child
Still got my PS2 GTAs, MGS2 and FF10 and 12
Some PS1 classics too. Everything else got lost to the void.
Sony boycott... xbox revival
The new Xbox won’t even have a disc drive, reportedly
used disc market
Bloody roar
that too
Just realized LRG are done for
Idk they might thrive being one of the only outlets for physical media
also kinda nuts that the tech shortage/RAM issues are not related to discs or Blu-Rays at all - but they do relate to storage drives and devices.
So now they're requiring everyone to need more storage devices that'll cost immensely more

I literally never said this. Y'all be putting words in niggas mouths. I said that natural disasters don't happen OFTEN for most people, I never said they aren't affected by them at all. You act like 9 out of 10 peoples' houses are burning down numerous times a year. The average person only experiences something like that one time in their entire life
The massive studio closures and cancellation of games is worse than no physicals. Less companies existing . More reliance on reboots remakes remasters
Bruh the game correction is going to happen if they don't fix the system. The companies are fighting over little marketshare there is for games. Not everybody can exist and sell millions of dollars to justify the rising costs of making games.
Indie isn't any better. We just hear the few good games on top of thousands of trash that's pumped out.
You will own nothing and be happy.
