I thought they’d innovate on cartridges when I heard ps6 may have a handheld aspect

I knew they’d probably phase out discs but I thought it would be replaced with something innovative. Like maybe a PS6-custom compression algorithm that allows the games to fit on a small 32gb or 64gb cartridge

Should they make a new format that is crack and changes reality ? Yes . Does Sony who got dvd , bluray , 4K bluray feel they need to do that as their competitors crumble ? No

Sony has the freedom to change their drm policy and update it to reflect the times . They fear what balances consumer friendly and piracy . The ps5 getting jail broken in past few months didn’t help

I don’t think we’re really disagreeing that much here about the bigger picture. I understand the legality of the situation and Sony’s rights to protect their content from piracy.

It’s also super obvious that consumers have no rights anymore, which has disturbing implications when it comes to controlling the distribution of media, information and so on. It’s reasonable to be concerned that everything you purchase can be taken away by someone else whenever they want.

I've been moving everything to my computer this year too and had to downside for my home so I had to get rid of my crt tv, so lot of my stuff just sadly sits now but now it's worth fr selling them 💀

If any of y'all got Gameboys, any gen era, they are worthed a lot right now btw and prob the thing a lot ppl have sitting somewhere the most but don't realize it - it's worthed a lot even if you're missing the battery tray

Anything Pokemon in box is worth a s***ton rn as well such as Black 2 in box is worth $150, and even some loose stuff like Pokemon HeartGold ds just cart is worth 120 - 140 while box is 160 to 200 n like Pokemon Crystal loose is worth $140 etc. n I just sold Pokemon Colosseum for $160 complete box n manual 💀
