I was thinking about it more and it’s absolutely brilliant. Let’s say he never acknowledges anything through next Friday and then it drops; he’ll benefit from BOTH the surprise / shock aspect of a surprise drop since he never actually legitimized the ads with confirmation AND the hype built up with a prior announcement, since his core fan base, those ‘in the know’ will have been anxiously anticipating and building up hype all week since they were aware of the cryptic teasers.
