They probably are desperate tbh but these movies never got theatrical releases and deserve to

i like soul and luca a lot but turning red was some major mid

idk how much interest there’ll be in these especially for kids with how “old” they are but this 3 peat was so slept on and some of pixar’s best original material in years

Soul is up there with Pixar’s best imo

Damn I gotta drive all the way to the theater near Pixar itself to find a Dolby screening of this. Feels like someone at Pixar noticed that there weren't any and forced one Dolby showing near their offices each morning lol

There were 3D showings scheduled before that I think got cancelled cuz I only see two other theaters in the whole bay area with 1 3D showing a day.

How do they botch this rerelease so badly

This movie would be a lot better if that cat didn’t get involved

It also didn't make any sense at all for the main dude to drop down with Fey's character at the end and sacrifice himself instead of letting her jump in and then booking it to the hippie guy to get put back in his body.

It's honestly a really good and beautiful movie severely impacted by like 2 or 3 major mis-steps. I still like it a lot, but when I think about it in reflection, I'm kinda surprised how much those issues really hold it back from being amazing to me.
