Where’s the Old Town Road of SoundCloud?

The Souncloud era was disappointing because we had been spoiled by the amount of talent that came out during the tumblr era (pro era, odd future, raider klan, asap, childish gambino, travis). But at least with soundcloud you could recognize the wasted potential of artists like xxxtentacion and peep. And while alot of the music was bad there was a semblance of an organic music movement behind it, especially with how passionate the fans were.

But the worst part of this era is that unlike souncloud I cant even hate or criticize it, I honestly just don't care. There isn't a whole lot for underground fans now . Everything about Tik-Tok is the worst of instagram/soundcloud/youth culture watered down to content bootyjuice. Even the good memes on it cant justify it's existence. I'm just hoping that this era is the prelude to a cultural explosion like a grunge or punk movement. Please Im hoping
