For years it had been speculated that Issac Hayes left the show left the show as a result of him being offended by the "Trapped in the Closet" episode. But it was revealed years later by his son that it was his manager that spoke for while he was suffering from health problems, he wasn't offended by the scientology jokes and didn't want to quit the show.

haven’t watched the show in a while, but off top the classics are seasons 1-7. i think there’s a few mostly banger seasons after that, but 1-7 has most of the best episodes.

it didn’t start getting actually underwhelming until season 14 or 15 tho

I never knew the rest of the story. Its f*** matt and trey even more for that robot chef episode

However I’d have Simpsons seasons 2-8 better than South Park.

The hate is cause some of the humor in this is very edgy which is a fair criticism but I personally find it hilarious
