    Doesn’t count because most of his projects had reused tracks. His output was fake and inflated because he kept releasing the same music and no one cared enough to notice for a while lol

    Sorry to be Mr Technical cause I see where youre coming from but I think it would be more accurate to say SGP was the mix of Lil B and Charles, stylistically and chronologically

    to me
    sgp = bangers
    charles = lyrical s***
    lil b combination of both but yeah sgp definitely a student of basedgod if u looking at chronology

    I think of wavy trippy sounds and f*** the world/player fly s*** more than bangers when it comes to sgp but he does have that in his pocket so from your pov that makes sense to me, tybg

    Good top ten but damn no substance Abuse?

    Damn that’s crazy because I actually typed it out at the end of the list and realized it made 11 so classic.

    That’s the thing with Charles the depth of great projects is just unmatched. Who else has projects like Substance Abuse that might not even make their top 10?

    Charles easily. Charles has a top 20 catalog in hip hop despite it all

    Nigga have you heard half of his catalogue.

    .... respectfully, top 20 in hip-hop is crazy.

    Crazy to think that album could’ve actually been released. There is a parallel universe where Charles stayed the course lmao .

    But yeah I love that album, it’s a good look into CH’s sound. Lyrical s***, fun comedic joints, songs about women, emotional Personal joints, dope beat, left field samples, flips of classic popular joints, and ofcourse Sonic references.

    Probably could’ve used a lil refining if it was ever going to get a proper release he had some open verses on one joint but I f*** wit that album heavy.

    He has bad stuff sure

    But I can rattle off 20 or 30 or 40 great projects. Who else can do that?

    Who can go project for project with Charles? Like let’s do a versuz with albums and see who run out first. Charles is washing a lot of people

    Nas, Jay, Common, Curren$y… who else we got, it’s a short list. I don’t think top 20 is that crazy, that’s with me taking his lack of impact and later weaker material into account

    tbh it's quality and impact over quantity when it comes to this.

    Charles got mixtapes from his first run but they not seeing discographies from artists that had impact.

    I'd argue his greatness for production not songs.

  • If Charles Hamilton didn’t have mental issues, I’d like to think he would be getting production placements for a lot of these new underground rappers. Insanely good producer
