The fact they had no one to detain her or anything, just left her there at the park in the middle of the day on her own was just weird.

Would’ve made a little more sense if Jean was the one to go out and get ice cream and most of the kidnapping takes place before she’s aware of what’s happening, and by the time she turns around she sees the vans speeding away and her sister gone.
