gaboyeah id love that too but i think andrews grown out of the role now save for this movie. he was so endearing to watch in this one though
but yeah thats why im skeptical, the future of the whole sony deal & spiderman in general is v uncertain but i guess thats more exciting than always knowing what sequel's next
i just hope its still in the MCU like u said and the tom hardy cameo was the compromise

Imo Tom will stay in the MCU and appear in the crossover movies it’s just too much money left on the table on Sonys end

Made me super happy
Watching the fight and seeing Andrew and Tobey’s beautiful suits contrasted with Tom’s was a bit of a bummer
I’m just happy it seems like they’re going back to basics with tom’s Spidey and finally airing out the Tony stink by finally having him make his own suit in his own movies (I know he had that suit in civil war but honestly that was basically a throwaway gag at best)

Dec 15, 2021In the whole movie there was just one scene i didn't like. That was when all the Spideys were talking on the statue before the villains arrived. It was too referencey and didn't feel like real dialogue. Everything else hit the mark completely

Andrew really gave his all. I hoped from the trailer that Andrew was going to be the one to save MJ to 'redeem' himself and when he started crying it was one of the best moments of the movie

I’ve seen this clip a few times and it doesn’t look like the art going around in this thread. There doesn’t appear to be web shooters on the outside or a disconnected waistline. I may be wrong and need a more HD look but it straight up looks like this
All I know is the s*** gave me goosebumps looking at it. I haven’t felt like that looking at a live action Spidey suit since the Raimi films

I’ll never forget the moment Andrew took off his mask and my theatre completely erupted and mind you other than laughing audiences over here don’t really do that American s*** where you clap after every scene
My theatre exploded with cheers and claps it was unlike anything I’ve ever seen
Of course the eruption was even louder when Tobey came out
Not ashamed to admit I cried pretty hard, I didn’t think I would but I absolutely cried like a baby
Truly one of those moments you’ll never forget in your life, I love the theatre experience so much
Anyways sappy s*** aside I enjoyed the film immensely I had a s*** eating grin from start to finish it was just a fun ass ride beginning to end
It’s obviously gonna get lost in the shuffle but what a amazing day for netflix fam too getting Matt and Fisk back on the same f***ing day (at least in Europe sorry NA) - it’s just so poetic for me I was so happy when Matt popped up “Yeah I’m a good lawyer”
They did everything I wanted them to do with Andrew and more (saving MJ when he couldn’t save Gwen
)i love the jokes they popped off with his spidey (you’re amazing) and such it was just great f***ing vibes man
I’m such a mark for all the fan service in this film I won’t lie - my theatre died laughing at Norman saying his famous scientist line
May dying honestly kinda shocked me because of how young tomei is I assumed she would be in for the long haul but her death makes sense and it feels like our Spidey is finally Spidey now (especially him making a new suit in the end void of any Stark tech)
I will fully admit that the hype is prolly overshadowing flaws but I really don’t care, I got exactly what I wanted from this film and I am truly so happy I got to see it

Honestly one of the best theatre experiences I've ever had.
The way the audience reacted to Matt on the screen I knew I was in for a treat. Tobey and Andrew were a different story all together. Felt like I was at a football match
