The pause after Strange says “everyone who knows and loves you…” and he starts tearing up when he says ”we…we’d have no memory of you”
Did anyone else catch the emphasis on the “we”?
William Dafoe is Green Goblin like RDJ is Tony Stark or Hugh Jackman is Wolverine.
Almost impossible to imagine another actor touching the role.

Peter being erased is a tragedy on the level of an epic
The mad man did it, he topped his Spider-Man 1 performance
Idk bout all that but he did very well

Yeah it’s a f***ed ending, but Peter’s perseverance makes it a little sweet

i wonder if people will respect spidey more now that they dont know hes a kid + hes also just older

after rewatching spider man 1 I agree heavy. He is the goat but I laughed at more scenes due to the absurdity than was intimidated

it’s a great way to write him out of the Avengers and everything too. Very well done imo
Does this also mean that Spider-Man leaving MCU would also be possible?
So because of the spell backfiring — instead of everyone forgetting Peter Parker was spiderman — everyone that knew Peter Parker was spiderman came to Tom’s universe, right?
So why was Electro there? He didn’t know Peter Parker was Spiderman in TASM2 iirc? Is this a plot hole or did I miss something

SM1 is a comedy and I need people to come to realize this lol the only scene that’s serious imo is the fight between him and peter at the end

This
excited for real spider-man to be in the mcu, cant wait for him to be friends with the fantastic four and chilling with wolverine
Doctor Strange’s newfound respect for Peter in realizing just how selfless of a hero he is at his willingness to make everyone forget him really makes that moment perfect too

exactly, goblin in this movie is just straight up sinister asf
Aunt May dying
Tobey and Andrew trying to uplift Peter after Aunt Mays death
Andrew saving MJ and redeeming himself for Gwen
Doctor Strange tearing up as he realizes Peter will be forgotten by everyone
Peter leaving MJ and Ned alone because he just causes pain in their lives
Peter being completely alone at the end
Spidey and Wolverine
seeing that s*** will mean more to me than avengers 1 by farrrrr
Andrew really got the worst treatment out of all the Spider-Men when it came to his solo movies and it shows with how positive the reception is for his performance in this.
Its even overshadowing Tobey a bit in reception, which is shocking because Tobey was the #1 reason why people went to the theaters.
Garfield is such a better actor and he would’ve been the best Spider-Man IF his movies had a good director and better writing
Am I the only one who thought Tobey should’ve said with great power comes great responsibility instead of may? Her saying it and butchering it made me kinda cringe ngl

Spider-Man Endgame more like a Spider-Man Infinity War tbh with this tragedy of a ending
my boy really suffering
