This movie was such a emotional rollercoaster, had a feeling this would happen but didn’t know it was going to make me tear up

Andrew stole every scene he was in, with how much more care his arch with Electro got, makes me wonder if the reports of Tobey being a last minute edition was true because he seemed just there

nah he wasn’t just there bro. he was more standoffish and didn’t have as much of an arc as the other two but to me, that was exactly why his character was so great here

Tobey was way more comfortable with himself than the other two which makes sense because he’s older. His Peter should be pushing 40. He’s had two decades being Spider-Man, he’s been through hella ups and downs and has fully learned from it all.

Meanwhile, Andrew’s Peter is in his late 20s, a decade at the most being Spider-Man, and he still hadn’t fully healed from Gwen’s death which is why the saving MJ scene was so great. and of course Tom is the youngest. I think the two of them had slightly more material bc their Peters have a lot more growing to do.

I do wish we could have seen Tobey do a little more but his character was far from an afterthought to me

facts tobey's arc was completed by the end of 3 and the only thing that was left unknown was the state of him and MJ's relationship which he confirmed is working out in this movie (teared up at this fr)

glad andrew got the closure his character needed after never getting a 3rd movie and tom finally became spiderman

Doctor Strange’s newfound respect for Peter in realizing just how selfless of a hero he is at his willingness to make everyone forget him really makes that moment perfect too

    smile now

They all felt like close brothers

only scene that made me tear up was when peter and Mj said goodbye

something about the aunt may scene didnt connect with me, I didnt feel it even though the acting was phenomenal

It don't feel right that Uncle Ben got nothing to do with inspiring Peter to be a better person and be Spider-Man. It was all other people and thats just wrong

I hope there’s not a hiatus between trilogies, I’m so damn curious what’s next for him

That ending was so damn good. For perspective I didn’t really care that much for the previous two films

yeah I wasn’t a big fan of the first two either but now I’ve finally fallen in love with Tom Holland’s Spider-Man

another great thing about this movie is how it retroactively strengthens every other SM movie, from the mid MCU ones to the garbage ones like SM3 and TASM2

Andrew deserves a reboot after this performance. I know it’s unrealistic but I’d love to see more if him attached to actual competent writing

Facts man everybody won here. Very satisfying in every way. I feel like every single SM franchise is at peace now

I know that I sound like a broken record but Kevin Feige needs to green-light TASM 3 ASAP.
