SouloThat’s true, I’m assuming they just all got pulled out of their fight with Spider-Man. Doc even says he had his hands around peters throat and then he was there so. They probably should have changed Stranges dialogue to “most of them die fighting spider-man” or something
That makes sense for Doc cuz he ain’t survive. Lizard being pulled into this universe and being back as a lizard is confusing as f*** but it is what it is

I'm trying to think of what possible villain from the comics would fit all the things they've set up for Ned... Or could this be the first time we witness an original comic book character who's first appearance was in a live action film, kind of in the same vein as Harley Quinn.

Not if she figures it out herself. MJ's whole character in comics/Raimi films is that she pushes to face the risk even when Peter doesn't want her to.

Because it pulled villains who knew Peter was Spider-Man, had nothing to do with them dying to spider-man that was just what motivated Tom’s Spider-Man to try and help them since they were in his universe now

The problem is I couldn't give less of a f*** about those characters. Even if it was a good technical fight scene. I wont feel the weight if they're not strong characters
Spider-Man is cool but I don’t really have any sort of attachment to him. Def not more than the other heroes so I’m just objective with it.
If you’re partial towards Spider-Man then I can see how you fw it heavy. Same s*** happened with Endgame but all the nostalgia and recall s*** can’t make up for weak action scenes

The motivation was for him to try to cure them. Connors / Lizard was literally cured and serving time in jail. His story was over. Lmaoo at least with Electro, Goblin and Ock I understand cuz they died and never got a second chance. Connors did. He shouldn’t be there lol

People really underestimating how fire it would be to have MJ go through a character arc that gives us a head strong less pessimistic MJ that would keep him in check. But they just want to bring back Gwen to die

Not a fair comparison imo, all the villains here are already established. This movie doesn't need to waste time by setting them up all over again, which is one of the reasons why the other ones turned out worse than this.
