You can’t deny though that a lot of the time you’ve been arguing against this movie/people itt and it’s not hard to see why people would think you don’t like the movie. I went through 5 pages and didn’t see you say much of anything positive about this. What did you like about it besides Spider-Man losing everything?

Personally nah because spiderverse is the best animated film of the decade and made me actually like miles morales

yo as someone who grew up with the Raimi films this s*** was dope. I was worried we wouldnt see Tobey's spidey suit, that still is my favourite one, just something about it slaps

but movie was good, honestly i respect the ambition to tie all the spider man films into this but i wasn't floored or anything. thought it was a great fan service and a great movie but it isnt a 10/10 for me. just felt a little flat at times.

I’ve argued against comparing this to 3rd films that had exponentially worse production issues. I’ve tried to pinpoint what I liked about it besides “ nostalgia “ or “ great seeing spider men and villains again “ because anytime anyone mentions they love any of the old movies all y’all say is “ NOSTALGIA THEY S*** NOW LOL HOLLAND BEST IN EVERY WAY THOSE 20 year old stories can’t compete did you see Garfield skating lol trash “

So I want to pinpoint what I liked about this movie that didn’t rely on Garfield or Tobey and you see that’s not exactly easy all the time

on one hand i agree but i also got no nostalgia for the ASM movies

didn’t see either when they came out and was lowkey not caring about spider man much during that time

i was only interested in that ASM 2 ps4 game before i saw how bad it was

but that back crack scene had me dying
