And that’s exactly why Marvel modernizes their heroes costumes because some of the comic outfits would not translate well on screen.
When doing an adaptation, keep the best aspects of the source material and tweak the weak ones.

Honestly though this might be the worst marvel plot of all time now that I think about it. All Peter had to say was “dr strange daddy please make everyone forget what mysterio said and who he was” and aunt may would still be alive.
I like the way it played out though because it showed that Peter is literally still just a kid, and kids make mistakes by not fully thinking their decisions through

Yeah that’s how I viewed it too. I’m glad we got this movie. I usually hate people talking during movies, but it was so fun during this to see everyone go crazy.
