I feel you. I just think in the context of both movies they played similar roles and what not. Pretty identical to me. And I wonder if after time passes and the hype dies down will people still feel that MCU Dafoe was way better.
Cuz I remember when Endgame dropped the hype was through the roof but now the consensus seems to be that Infinity War was the better movie
Maybe that will happen who knows, idk from first viewing those were my impressions.
Gonna catch it again sooner or later to form a better opinion especially on the stuff I didn't like.
Y’all keep saying Norman was Norman for a longer period of time but he was only Norman for the FEAST scene , the banter with the other villains and the scene in the apartment where he’s working with Peter. Then he heel turns and is Goblin again until he’s cured.
The “good” side of Norman gets the same amount of representation in both
I mean if you summarize it like that it seems short but that’s like a hour of the movie
What y’all think of the I’m something of a scientist myself line?
Add it to the other MCU lines with memes
What y’all think of the I’m something of a scientist myself line?
It was funny as hell to me. But when time goes on it’s probably just gonna be like “oh remember that meme” and to modest audiences they’re probably not gonna get it

Too hype for a Kraven Spidey film
kraven getting a solo from sony
so thats not gonna happen
The ending was tragic but seeing Peter go back to living a normal life for a young adult in NYC was so refreshing to see
Tom Holland's a great Spider-Man but you couldn't get me to believe he was just our friendly neighborhood spidey when that man was a spiritual heir to the richest and smartest man on the planet, had access to the world's most advanced tech, joined the Avengers and could ask his superhero buddies for any favor at any time
Meanwhile Tobey was out here hauling pizza like a madman
its a risky spell but he literally said he had successfuly done it multiple times so he thought he was just gonna do it again ? dont really see the problem with that but if u do thats okay
Nigga he didn’t think to warn Peter like ay s*** could get f***ed up??? Like it’s crazy how he cast the spell and got mad at Peter like Peter isn’t a teenager without any sorcery experience 😭😭😭😂😂😂😂
yo @SegaDreamFlash i think we've talked about this before but I can't seem to remember for some reason,do you have a letterboxd account or nah?
Sad we didn't get a good web swinging scene. One with all 3 of them would've been crazy
In New York ? Does spider man live in New York
recency bias goin crazy cause honestly SM1 norman was just as good if not better.
YOU KNOW HOW MUCH I SACRIFICED??
Lmao bruh don’t say that cuz you’ll be called a hater

I’m guessing this scene Tom was talking about in that interview was cut then:
“What he could say is that the scene features his Peter Parker, Marisa Tomei’s Aunt May, and Jon Favreau’s Happy Hogan – along with a mystery fourth character. “It’s four people sitting at a table, having a conversation about what it’s like to be a superhero, and it was amazing,” Holland tells Empire. “The other day we watched the scene, my brother and I, and our jaws were on the floor.”
Unless he was talking about the Daredevil scene, but they weren’t talking about what it’s like to be a superhero in that scene
