2nd movie: curves mary jane again to be spiderman, she can't resist him and leaves her fiance for him in the end
3rd movie: makes out with gwen in front of MJ, harry tries to steal his girl so he blows up half his f***in face with a bomb, steals Eddie Brocks girl Gwen, only to use her to make MJ jealous

Yes 10 minutes in 1 movie really helped him out even though everyone was against it leading up
Damn Samuel L really needs credit for avengers 1, iron man 2, winter soldier and cap marvel at this point
Yes it took toms movies to elevate those characters and redeem the last 2 two
You silly if you think a brand new SM in 2017. Only 3 years after the last franchise and 10 years after the first franchise was gonna hit without the connection to the MCU. The MCU connection was the main selling point.
