Like that’s why I didn’t like that ending cause I knew they would take it this far when all the aunt mays have known she the only one that died and in such a odd way of fake goblin serum ( look she hot selfless , look even a man named happy is sad she died )

I at least hope there a moment where he realizes the fact he didn’t ask for help earlier is why the goblin serum didn’t work so in a way he did kill aunt may to avoid the world knowing the truth . He was consumed by fame and let it all go while wanting to ouch and choose who knew him as who or loved him vs spider man

Also unlike the other deaths he partially blames Mays death on himself even Goblin rubs that point in. Which is why he was as unhinged as he was. Feel like May had to die to get Peter to where he is now. Strange would’ve had May forget about Peter as Spider-Man but she’d still be linked by blood so there’s always a chance she’s in danger.

maybe i'm forgetting some things but May was just a cool wine aunt for the first 2 movies and they didn't really show the influence she had on him. It's not until NWH did she start having a more active role in guiding peter but by then it was too late.
