The dialogue line for line could have been a lil stronger between characters. That’s probably my biggest overall gripe with the movie

Yup, thats my issue with it too. A lot of the character interactions for the first 40 minutes of the movie felt pretty corny and poorly written.

Deff could’ve used more heartfelt interactions like “No more darker half” and less exposition (and kinda sorta retcons). They both had close relationships with Tobey Peter and I would’ve liked to hear more on how they were feeling about that.

That little convo between Sandman and Electro got a chuckle out of me too lol. I liked Sandman’s introduction a lot. The stuff you pointed out I liked too and I guess I just wanted more of that.

But ultimately most of the other lines between them stuck out to me.

One thing that I found not bad or good but interesting was Goblin talking down on good Otto before the fight. it reminded me more of their dynamic in Spectacular and things like that just felt like untapped potential. Their interactions with Peter kept me on board though.

Lizard is kinda just there even though he gave me the biggest laugh with that “thats not his girl no way.” Out of character as hell but caught me so off guard

My only real grip is that Tobey & Goblin never acknowledged each other which is weird because they have the most complex relationship in the whole movie

I agree with you but also it doesnt make sense that harry isnt in the movie so they probably didnt wanna get close to that
