TheoryThe more I’ve thought about it, Tobey kinda got stuck with not a whole lot to do because his trilogy already wrapped up pretty nicely.
Garfield obviously had loose ends, guilt, all that.
Tobey just comes off as a dad type that’s just here to help, not really having any existential crisis lol. Thematically I’m not sure what else I really wanted to see him achieve. Feel like he just got to bro out for a little bit lol
Tbf, Tobey’s existential crisis came in SM2 and managed to get over it but I feel this overall

but yeah reviews were kinda badI always love that story, like even despite the bad press and s*** the third one was still going ahead (box office on TASM2 was huuuge too, like it was the highest grossing SM film up to then for memory), but then Andrew dips on meeting some Sony execs at an event in Japan and they just decide to fire his ass
