It took me years to respect Tom Holland’s Spider-Man but I think this movie proves he’s objectively the best film version Spider-Man. Those other two are older than him yet they haven’t been through half the s*** he’s done and they are aware of it 🤣

emoceanthen why do they almost go out of their way to make sure he's not mentioned or alluded to in the MCU? when Tobey and Andrew are telling him about their uncle bens, or at the gravesite... wouldn't that have been the moment to just acknowledge his existence in the MCU? But they didn't and we're left to assume aunt may was just a single mother figure the whole time and even if there was an uncle ben at some point he left no real impact on holland.
I mean yeah? It seems like Tom barely knew Ben or only knew of him after his death

Not as we currently know him, but I got the sense at the end that Ned without his friend Peter kinda ended up more of a serious guy
The way he came in to the cafe and then just on his phone as he waited for MJ kinda gave me the vibe he was not exact the same anymore idk
That’s the only way it could work … if his personality tweaked which is possible if you remove his biggest childhood relationship

bmassI never said that at all. I also like that goofy side to him but not every movie about him needs fun school trips with 0 consequences, s*** gets boring. A balance is nice preferably than just one or the other.
True . I’m just happy his lessons in the first two didn’t have stem from complete tragedy (outside of tony’s death) . Made the tragedy to close the trilogy hit that much harder

Also RIP aunt may . I was way more connected to her from her being connected in the first movies even if it wasn’t a big plot thread. They also tied in her wanting Peter to fix everybody with her current job really well . Made me empathize heavy
