Saw videos of them going to India and spending time recording and studying Indian fighting styles from martial artists for Indian Spider-Man

And I bet there is hundreds of details and small things like these all over the movie

I couldn’t get enough of this movie, so instead of doing a rewatch of into the spiderverse or no way home. I did a rewatch of the Lego movie. Writing wise the pace and humor is very similar which is obvious that’s lord and Miller style. Also I noticed the characters are very similar to the spiderverse movies. Miles is emmet, and Gwen is wyldstyle. Both are similar how Gwen is the cool independent adventurous girl character, and miles is being told how he’s actually not special just like emmet is both have to go on their journey to prove everyone wrong. In both across the spiderverse and Lego movie they go to a place where there’s master builders from all the Lego worlds or Spider-Man’s from all the spiderverse. Each place makes them feel like they’re not wanted by that community.

Rewatched the first 2 Raimi Spider-Mans and they actually held up better than I previously thought on my last rewatch.

Last time I watched them was the first time watching since a kid and during that rewatch I thought they were corny. This time the charm is back, might have to adjust my rankings

I think it still comes out next year. I’m assuming it took Hailee 4 years to record Across the Spider-Verse because it took them 4 years to animate so she had to keep coming back in for new dialogue

I’m already mentally prepared for a pushback, but I’m optimistic it’ll only be delayed by a few months

Voice acting most of the time goes first before any animation is done for most well produced projects

Well something’s not adding up because there’s no way they haven’t animated a very large portion of the movie by now considering they set a March release date

But if as they’re animating they add new scenes they may need the voice actors to come back in

Otherwise why did it take her 4 years to record her lines?
