I said endgame but infinity war was shot the same way according to IMDb. if you look at technical specifications it tells you source format (what it was shot in) and master format (what it was released in)
CGI not looking good is much more a problem of time, money, and amount of work. There’s so much cgi in movies today that they can’t focus and nail down cgi in every scene they have to just make everything look good enough across the board.
And along with that there’s so much that studios don’t want to spend more time and more money when the budgets are already insane
you a filmmaker?
or just passionate about film?
you seem to have a lot of knowledge

Just passionate lol I collect movies and watch a lot of videos on YouTube and special features on my blu rays
I wish I knew more tbh it’s really interesting stuff especially film restoration
Wanted to go to AMC to see this but might just watch a Cam rip from home.
Save that first theatre experience back for Quiet Place part 2

if you ever make a youtube or blog or something let us know
i'd definitely tune in
Reading comprehension is a wonderful thing lol, but either way
Really interesting too because IW got delayed, and I think they were able to reallocate that time in post really well. For endgame, it wasn't that same period of freedom. And interestingly enough, for all these movies that got delayed and dropped during the pandemic, they all kinda looked like s***/not that great on the cgi front either. Makes one wonder
Spiral was a victim of this too, you'd expect a more strenuous post-production period just due to the time spent in the oven. Most of the work gotta be digital anyway
4k CGI is not something that has been done as far as I know
Maybe Avatar 2 will be the first one to do it, does seem like a Cameron thing to do

Can't really explain it, but the fact that every movie now is in 3D and they even tried to make 3D TVs a thing explains what type of effect it had on all types of industries

They don't work on the CGI untill release, they just have set dates because these studios have to work on multiple movies
I gotta catch up I watched saw 5 last night been watching with my girl
Some of the dialogue in Spiral is bizarre lol
there’s a sequence where everybody in the police office say’s “fucking” like every other word lol
Just saw it, this was actually pretty good. Surpassed my expectations and much better than the last saw movie
2 is my favorite lol first 3 all great tho
Yeah it’s a solid trilogy. The 6th one is pretty damn good too with the whole health care angle.
This movie was stupid, ugly, and boring but Chris Rock was very entertaining
Weird how they put so much work in making the visuals more refined but phoned in the traps and such. This isn't really the same franchise anymore. Clearly took a TV script and stapled it onto the iconography.
Was about to book movie tickets and saw that the 4K HDR rip is out
I already booked tickets for Saturday lmao
Gonna cancel them and watch Conjuring instead I guess
