Super solid entry in the series
The pacing was a little slow to start
I was almost worried that the more focused story would detract from some of the trashy fun we usually get, but it finds its way once we start getting into the traps, which are all pretty excellent
I thought the blood-boarding one was particularly clever, and I liked seeing John inside of it
Beautiful final shot, and a very satisfying after-credits scene Hoffman-heads are UP
You could feel the love here
They cooked this up right

I kinda hoped they’d stop at a perfect 10. Then we could get a nice Scream Factory box set and move on.

I thought the ending to this movie was kinda trash.

Looking back at how Chris rock was supposed to rejuvenate the franchise with Spiral and all thr hype it got with big names in it and a fresh new direction and then it came out and nearly completely ruined/ended the franchise is wild. Saw X went back to its roots and gave us the best saw movie since like part 2

I mean I’m not mad at it if it gives them more time but wasn’t expecting a huge delay like that
