This game is really fun, played today. And it highlights why I personally don’t like br. Like I need to get to the action. Fun combat, unique mechanics with the portals, and it has a casual mode for niggas like me not trying to be in matches with sweaty mf.

tried it last night, idk if its my level or something but it felt super easy to hit shots and i was never getting touched

Already a dead game. Ranked Master in 2/3 of the ranked playlists and I can confirm, as sad and shallow as it may be, that this game did not instantly try and act on any clout it gained and is now almost back to the grave. Even a week or two too long while no direct information to its main player base will surely kill a game such as this.

If you think that’s harsh, look back at Rogue Company. These games will have a player base for years to come, but they always f*** up the one thing that stops them from being a niche which is a strong and vibrant competitive scene. Take Valorant for example. It’s not like the game is much better, but it took what it was and tailored itself to a perfect ranked scene. S***, even b****es love it.

Devs will catch on in a couple years and by that time we’ll be into mass multiplayer sims or GTA6 or some s***. Sad

I actually think Splitgate is smooth as f***, intuitive, and has the ability to be a top tier competitive game. But there is so much working against them and imo they aren’t doing enough to fight being written off

And just to add on, about 6 out of 10 of every lobby you join in will have a Bot on one of the teams. These Bots have the same kind of names and avatars, but you probably wouldn’t notice if you were just playing to play. But whoever unfortunately is a team with a Bot on their roster will more than likely lose due to dead weight.
