They've had like 8 mobile redesigns since the last time Ive seen them this update this piece of s***. I like it now...wish they could work with more than shades of gray though

My Spotify has been repeating songs after the redesign update it's been all downhill I'm not satisfied at all

i cant just go to my albums / artists now, i have to go to "My Library" and the default tab for that is my playlists which are already in the sidebar

and it keeps tryina shill podcasts i dont give a f*** about

i hated it at first but it's a lot better compared to the classic 1

I get where you're coming from, but the previous version was woefully optimized for podcast listeners. You have to hit (one) extra button to access artists/albums, but this also blends together the different departments of the platform that shouldn't have been separated

they've done a great job of pocketing everything under a category that makes sense

really made no sense for podcasts to be separated from the other s***, it was just about combining them in a way that makes sense. I think this is that

for spotify i would love for the user to be able to categorize albums in the library. scroling thru em is annoying

that's fine! a reasonable concern. I just think its important to recognize spotify has billions put behind being a major podcast platform (amongst other fields). It's not just a music platform anymore yknow

that's something huge that should've been added to these platforms. Like with Logic Pro, you can sort instruments by these descriptors/moods on top of genre. Im not sure why spotify hasn't done something like that, esp with everything they've put into algorithms
