Been downhill since they added "Liked Songs"
It's hard to believe the people who make spotify actually use it
I didn’t like that they removed the search bar from the top of the page. Now you have to click on the search button on the side, but I’ve gotten used to it.
I was about to say this. Who's stupid f***ing idea was it to remove the search bar.... Were people accidentally clicking it or something? Spotify's UI design team are idiots.
Can they make it so the app doesnt disconnect from the internet from being open for more than an hour? Or how about give us a refresh button so we dont have to restart it every time
yeah mine takes forever to open too...could be due to my computer but don't seem to have that issue with Amazon Music or Tidal when I had it for awhile just Spotify...then it randomly freezes up and stops working to where I have to close out and open again
I like it it’s less clunky and easier to navigate for me. Plus the pinned albums/playlists are a great feature

???
I fw Spotify cus it’s the only streaming service that has global hot keys (with a third party program tho)
if you dont like it you can reverse it, appdata>roaming>spotify and put ui.experience_override = "classic" at the top of the prefs document.

i was having that same issue with it taking forever to start up. finally got some advice to try disconnecting it from my external hard drive (not letting it search for songs on the hard drive locations), and my startup time is almost instant now. something to test if you're using local music

word I'll give that a try...I know they suggested logging out and doing a reinstall...worked faster for a bit but then the same issues started happening again
You can revert to the old version. So much better @op

just know that if you do that, you might lose your sync to your offline songs, and they wont play in playlists anymore.. so if you have a lot of your own songs integrated, i wouldnt recommend it.
i was just so fed up with the load times, i didnt care anymore

This may fix my problem..
I think it looks great. Only real concern now is that the radio is basically useless cause instead of showing you new songs that are actually similar to the song you like, they show you 20 songs that you already know and like that are barely similar to the song
